Many departments utilize this basic level training course along with the introduction and implementation of a department wide Selection, Care & Maintenance (SCAM) Program. More often than not, departments and corporate brigades alike realize the value of utilizing an Independent third party for the purposes of educating their fire fighters and staff on personal protective ensembles (PPE) for safety and serviceable life of the garments, while reducing the overall department liability and PPE maintenance costs. developed and intended for the end user of the PPE.
